Hello with a Game Pack review this time. Spa Day Game Pack is the second game pack for sims 4, released on 14 July 2015, both for PC and Mac. You can also download it from your Origin account.
Most important part is, it brings spa venues to the game.. Lets see the 4 new ready spa lots and 1 gym lot coming with the pack;
Perfect Balance Spa
It is the most developed spa center, 30 x 20 including two baths. It includes all the new features coming with this pack ; yoga room, gym, masage tables, wellness bar, fountains, meditation room, massage chairs for hand and foot, locker rooms and sauna.

You can also build your own spa with the new game objects.
Also new skill is added for your sims ; ” wellness”. You can develop this skill by yoga, meditation and giving massages. Below you will see the levels of this skill and what they brings ;
- Skill 1 Level – allows your sims give massages, meditation and some yoga poses
- Skill 2 Level – allows your sims to cook Sugar Free Carob Coconut Cake, perform boat pose for yoga and discuss cognitive focusing methods with other sims
- Skill 3 Level – allows your sims to give aroma theraphy massage and perform triange pose for yoga
- Skill 4 Level – allows your sims to offer mental relaxation tips to other sims and perform three pose for yoga
- Skill 5 Level – allows your sims to give deep tissue massage and perform warrior pose for yoga
- Skill 6 Level – allows your sims to give sports massages , perform lord of the dance pose for yoga. They can also suggest visualition tecniques with this skill.
- Skill 7 Level – allows your sims to perform Bridge pose for yoga and cook superfood salad. They will also get the ability to teleport
- Skill 8 Level – allows your sims to give stone massage and perform handstand pose for yoga. They can also recommend self esteem exercises to other sims
- Skill 9 Level – allows your sims to give fertility massages
- Skill 10 Level – allows your sims to share detox tips and prepare lemon honey ginger detox tea
I want to mention about new game play feature ” Yoga ”. Doing yoga will allow your sims to lose weight and to gain muscles. You will get yoga mats with the pack and you will be able to place them also in your houses. Practicing Yoga will cause increase in your wellness skill and give focused moodlet to your sims. There are 3 interactions for the yoga mats. They each give moodlets to the sims ;
- Brain Boosting +1 inspired moodlet for 8 hours
- Energy Centering +1 energized moodlet for 8 hours
- Mind Concentrating +1 focused moodlet for 8 hours
Yoga classes are available with the new pack. They will cost a $ 110 and will last about 90 minutes. You will get 12 new pose options for yoga which are ; warrior, triangle, tree, lord of the dance, handstand , bridge, boat, side plank, downward facing dog, half moon, corprose and greeting poses. There are 3 interactions for yoga ; practice, routine and pose. Doing yoga also increases your sim’s athletic skill. You will be able to interact with yoga teacher during the lesson.
We had a give massage option already in game but this time it will be more professional with this pack. There are 2 types of new massages, one is the massage tables and the other one is the massage chairs for hand and foot. As your sims’ welness skill is increased , they will be able to give better massages. Sims can also get negative moodlets from massages. You can buy a massage table for your house and hire a massage therapist.
Here are the massages that can be given with the massage tables and their prices;
- Sweedish Massage – costs $ 120 – gives +1 happy moodlet for 12 hours
- Deep Tissue Massage – costs $ 180 – gives +1 happy moodlet for 24 hours
- Sports Massage – costs $ 230 – gives +1 energized moodlet for 12 hours
- Stone Massage – costs $ 300 – gives +1 happy moodlet for 24 hours
- Lavender Aromatherapy – costs $ 140 – gives +1 focused moodlet for 12 hours
- Fertility Massage – costs $ 380 -gives +1 happy moodlet for 12 hours and also increases the chance of twins or triplets
- Lotus Blossom Aromatheraphy – costs $ 140 – gives +1 confident moodlet for 12 hours
- Mint and Rosemary Aromatheraphy – costs $ 140 – gives +1 energized moodlet for 12 hours
- Ylang Ylang Aromatheraphy – costs $ 140 – gives +1 inspired moodlet for 12 hours
And below are the type of hand / foot massages that can be given by massage chairs ;
- Hand Massage – costs $ 40 – +3 happy moodlet for 6 hours
- Foot Massage – costs $ 40 – +3 happy moodlet for 6 hours
Saunas
Saunas give + 3 happy moodlet but you need to be very careful with the time you stay in. After 90 minutes in the sauna, the heat will start to effect your sims badly , will give them uncomfortable moodlet and finally they can even die.
- You can woohoo and try for baby in saunas.
- Sims fun and social need will be raised
- If you have level 5 of mischief skill , you can use sulfur ( it will bring a yellow cloud ) to give uncomfortable moodlet to other sims. It lasts 1 – 4 hours.
Also a new upgrade is coming for all the bath tubs; Mud Baths and Body Soaks. Although mud baths gives + 2 confident moodlet to your sims, it may cause some of sims to have uncomfortable moodlet.They will also lower the hygiene need and cost for $ 60. Your tubs will be dirty after you use them and you will need to clean them. Below are the body soaks with prices and moodlets;
- Citrius Soak – costs $ 30 – gives +2 focused moodlet for 8 hours
- Lavender Foam – costs $ 30 – gives +2 happy moodlet for 8 hours
- Milk, Honey and Oatmeal Soak – costs $ 30 – gives +2 happy moodlet for 8 hours
- Rose Petals – costs $ 30 – gives +2 flirty moodlet for 8 hours
- Muscle Relaxing Soak – costs $ 30 – gives +2 energized moodlet for 8 hours
Build / Buy Mode
You will get two new aquariums and 3 new fish types. You can put up to 5 fishes to each aquariums and can buy fishes directly by them. Here are the new fishes you will get with their prices;
- Cichlid – costs $ 30
- Discus – costs $ 40
- Exotic Goldfish – costs $ 45
You can also sell your fishes
The other new interactive game objects are incenses. You can burn them for 2 hours and get different moodlets. They each cost for $ 20.
